Meredith Threatt is the Director of the SWCO PTAC. Meredith began her career as a contractor at IBM in RTP, NC. Her tenure at IBM included work in the Networking Hardware, ThinkPad, Manufacturing, Options and Global Asset Recovery departments. In 2000, Meredith took a marketing and sales role with a tech start-up company (where she also managed a NASCAR Busch Series Sponsorship relationship). Meredith moved to Ohio in 2004 to work for a small telecomm services management firm. Meredith's expertise includes operations, administration, marketing, process development /implementation, training and sales. Bonnie Baker recently joined PTAC as our Program Assistant. Bonnie’s career started as a roofing contractor. Her career path later shifted to administration, including roles with such firms as Greene Country Club, Dayton Chamber of Commerce, Achievement Center for the Handicapped and the Sallie Mae Corporation. The Southwest Central Ohio Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) is a sub-center of the State of Ohio Procurement Technical Assistance Program. The State PTAC program is a cooperative effort among Ohio Department of Development, U.S. Department of Defense and various local host organizations. The SWCO PTAC is hosted and supported by the Edison Materials Technology Center (EMTEC). The mission of the PTAC program is to provide technical assistance to Ohio companies desiring to enter local, state and federal government markets, as a means to support economic development, and to foster the retention and creation of Ohio jobs. The State of Ohio PTAC program is one of 93 PTAC programs located throughout the United States. |
